Biography

Daniela Besso is a London based eponymous fashion label founded in 1999.Daniela, originally from Biella in Italy, comes from a textile family. She studied textile design in her hometown followed by qualifications in fashion from the Secoli Institute in Milan and the London College of Fashion. Prior to starting her own label, Daniela worked for Loro Piana, Valentino, Emporio Armani, Raffaella Curiel, Valentino, Hermes and Louis Vuitton as a fashion co-ordinator for womenswear. Daniela's range has been sold in exclusive stores worldwide including Liberty and Harrods in London as well as Vivre in New York. 2001 saw Daniela open her first standalone boutique in Chelsea on the Kings Road and in 2005, she open her second shop in Marylebone High Street. Having sold her shop to Gerrard Durell she decided to focus on design and launch her online boutique of womenswear and loungewear. Inspired by the glamour of cosmopolitan cities and Daniela's love of 1930s design and geometric architecture her vision was to create a products that look and feel sensational.

Philosophy

The key to luxury loungewear is to remember that it is all about you, it needs to be soft, feminine and luxury for the ultimate lounging experience. Daniela Besso has extended the concept of comfortable luxury to create a collection of versatile and wearable clothes using the softest cotton, cashmere, whether you are relaxing at home or going for lunch.
